2000 incompatible sites with Internet Explorer 8

Microsoft reveals on their blog a strange statement in which he announced that more than 2,000 sites are still incompatible with Internet Explorer 8. Better still, Microsoft has even been delighted with the result that sees fall of 1000 sites from March 2009! Indeed, the release of Internet Explorer 8, 3100 sites were incompatible.

And bah if we go with it not a good day, I know what it takes …

Apparently (yes, I could not verify what follows since I’m on Firefox;)) to mitigate the impact of incompatibilities, Microsoft has added a button in IE8 compatibility. It has also enabled users to download a list of popular sites that automatically switches the display compatibility mode.
