Firefox is used by 30% of world population

Firefox keeps on winning market share. Indeed, a new study has just fallen and said that nearly one third of the population uses the Web browser Firefox. The study was conducted with various companies like StatCounter, Quantcast, Net Applications and Gemius. The result is clear: Firefox has won the heart of 30% of the world population …

As you can see in the image above, Europe was not ashamed to meet other continents since we are already over 152 million users with a market share of 39.2%. In passing the United States Firefox is doing well with 100 million users and a market share of 26%. Russia gets the strongest growth since the browser’s downloads have increased by 20% in first quarter.

Google Chrome will pay IE and Firefox
