It was declared officially dead at 10 h 04, on the morning of Sunday. She was 32.
The causes of death are, at present, unknown. An autopsy should be performed but her husband, British screenwriter Simon Monjack, refuse, at present, the examination. Toxicological testing should also be made, but results will not be known until a period of six weeks.
“No criminal investigation is planned,” said a spokesman for the police. “Not a trace of drugs or amphetamine was found at his home,” he said.
Brittany Murphy suffered from diabetes and was taking many drugs to treat his disease. The first reported evidence that early Sunday, she began vomiting and confessed that she felt very sick. In her bathroom, her lifeless body was found by his mother.
